After having Kanye’s album on repeat for the past week, it was time to listen to something else.  Alabama Native Yelawolf also came out the with his album Trunk Muzik 0-60 this week.  I first heard of him off of Big Boi‘s “You Ain’t No DJ” and then I heard some great songs from him like “Pop the Trunk” and “Box Chevy”.  This dude is clean with the flow and the production is heavy.  Trunk Muzik definitly describes his style.  This is the type of shit where you drive slow and turn the bass up.  Kinda reminds me of old school West Coast Hip Hop but with a Southern twist.  Anyways check out his music and if you like it, support him and buy it HERE.  If you’re broke then download his mixtape Trunk Muzik HERE, which has half of the tracks featured on the album.

“Box Chevy Pt. 3”

“I Wish ft. Raekwon”

Don’t make me Pop the Trunk on YOU!

If you really like what you’re hearing, check out his 2008 mixtape Stereo which is a Hip Hop tape dedicated to Classic Rock .  Here’s some of my favorite cuts from that mixtape that you can download HERE.

“Brick in the Wall”

“Rich Like Me”

“Take It Easy”

Paul McCartney “Wonderful Christmastime”
